
ABOUT US - CALIBRE BBQ CO
Calibre BBQ Co is a 100% Australian-owned family run BBQ business located in Far West NSW in the
Outback town of Broken Hill.
In 2019 we started smoking meat using an old retro style fridge which we converted into a "Fridge Smoker", once we started smoking food there was no turning back for us!
We decided the Fridge Smoker became quiet hard work as it would come with plenty of late nights monitoring the fire, we decided to purchase a Yoder YS640s Smoker which is imported from the USA.
Since purchasing the Yoder and having more time on our hands it gave us the Inspiration to create and blend our own Spice Rubs.
Calibre BBQ Co have three Spice Rubs, all have iconic names relating back to our Outback home town of Broken Hill.
Our range of Spice Rubs will be expanding with a Brisket Rub and Chicken Salt becoming available in late August - early September 2025 along with a new look for our business!

COVID eventually hit Broken Hill which meant we had plenty of time on our hands to start planning the expansion of Calibre BBQ Co!
17th October 2022 is the day we purchased an old air receiver tank. Since that day it has had over 300+ hours work spent on designing and building Calibre BBQ Co's first ever Smoker.
Over the past 5 years our friends and family have been lucky enough to be our taste testers for our meats. Our dreams officially became a reality in January 2025 when we launched our 3.5 Tonne Smoker & Mobile Food Trailer.
We've built this from the ground up-literally and now were laying the foundation for our next big step, we cant wait to share with you what we have planned!
